Medical Donation Program
The Issue
Geographic isolation, financial disadvantages, remote barangays, health worker shortages, underfunding, and patient overcrowding are all examples of factors that impact government hospitals and health facilities in the Philippines. Because of these explicit deficits, there is a prevalent lack of advanced technology and equipment and one-time-use medical supplies.
Our Solution
With the generosity of partner hospitals in Florida, PHI acts as a working liaison.
We gather excess, near-expiration, or expired medical supplies from hospitals, clinics, and dental offices and coordinate shipment to identified health facilities.
