What is the Senior Advisory Board?
As a youth-led organization, we value the ambitious spirit of our mission but also recognize that we lack the expertise to guide our organization compared to having older adults with more work, industry, and life experience. Having two uniquely diverse perspectives, both student and expert, we strengthen PHI’s mission through differing community insights, access to larger networks, and an overall wider lens when examining issues we want to work on.
With the PHI Senior Advisory Board, we aim to refine our organization’s work through the feedback and support of experts who volunteer their time. Specifically, we discuss potential ideas and improvements, collaborate directly with senior advisors for our programming, and develop our understanding of nonprofit organizational management.
These wonderful individuals are experts in their respective fields who have kindly offered their time & input to the PHI mission.
